Okay, so I’m watching The Tudors on CBC, and this trailer is shown during the commercial break.

What is it with this recent Anne Boleyn craze, anyway? Not that I mind, ‘cuz I’m a sucker for historical fiction, especially in film, but it really can throw a person who’s watching a show about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn to see a trailer for a movie about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn with different actors…especially when that person is using the commercial break to write her blog. Today was haaaard.
Because you don’t get to have a nice big cobb salad with ham, boiled egg, cheese and creamy dressing. Noooo…just vegetables. Plain, unadorned vegetables. And your “treat” is a potato.
Interestingly, though, if you take my food intake today and measure it up by Weight Watchers standards, I didn’t do too badly. Read the rest of this entry »
