Now That’s a Bit Confusing
Okay, so I’m watching The Tudors on CBC, and this trailer is shown during the commercial break.

What is it with this recent Anne Boleyn craze, anyway? Not that I mind, ‘cuz I’m a sucker for historical fiction, especially in film, but it really can throw a person who’s watching a show about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn to see a trailer for a movie about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn with different actors…especially when that person is using the commercial break to write her blog. And she hears the phrase: “…an opportunity has arisen to be mistress to the King of England…”

I haven’t been watching the Tudors but plan to get the DVDs out because of all the talk.
I do plan on seeing this movie though! Looks like a good one.
We do go through these historical phases with tv & movies. I have to say that Jonathon Rhys-Meyers is much more enjoyable as Henry VIII, although it doesn’t look like Eric Bana has much to say in the movie.
i was annoyed too. especially because it was the long version of the preview…but i’m excited to see it. i hope it’s good!
