This is Me Vlogging
So, there’s this thing called vlogging, in case you didn’t already know. It’s a type of blogging, only on video. Hence the term: vlogging.
This morning I had a little bit of time to myself and I thought I’d give it a try. So I got out my camera and brought it along on a mini-coffee break on my back deck. I thought it would be very serene; even — dare I say — zen.
But actually, it sucked. But, in the spirit of total honesty (and because I can’t think of anything else to “vlog” about right now) here it is. My very first vlog:
(Oh, and btw, I don’t think I really have a lisp like it sounds like I do on this clip. But maybe I do. Anyone IRL able to confirm or deny the existence of the lisp?)

Where did that voice come from?!? Maybe that is your pre-coffee voice. Don’t you remember how a certain grandmother of ours stopped talking while the video camera was on once she heard her own voice on it!! But honestly, I’m fairly sure you have never had a lisp before. I enjoyed your first foray into vlogging nontheless!!
OK…who IS that?! No, you do not normally have a lisp. OK. I must try this. Maybe I should vlog a live argument with my kids
at least it would be entertaining but likely equally as embarrassing…if not more.

Ha ha! I love your sunny yellow kitchen (and the new floor, of course). You do not want a vlog from me – I hate my recorded voice.
